Loyal Address

In Golden Jubilee year in 2002, and now in the Diamond Jubilee year, a set of privileged bodies (including the Royal Borough) presented a short address to Her Majesty at Buckingham Palace. Ours was presented by the Mayor, and the delegation also included some of our longest serving Members. It was a really nice day but unfortunately no cameras or the like were allowed in the actual ceremony. Pictured outside here are myself with Cllr Leo Walters – fellow Bray ward member – who’s been a councillor almost as long as I’ve been alive !
