Replacing Christian Harris who’s moved out of the area and taken on a big new job in the music streaming industry is Stuart Carroll. Stuart is a great addition to the Conservative team as a blogger – his website is full of information about his efforts in the local area and I won’t duplicate it here.

Paul Lion is the well-known hotelier at the Elva Lodge. He’s been on the Conservative ticket a few times, missing out in 2007 by just a few votes, but has really been a stalwart member of the team since 2011. A former rower he has plenty of memorabilia in the Elva Lodge bar. He also beat Steve Redgrave (many years ago).

Claire Stretton is the champion of arts and culture in our Maidenhead team. Recently taken on the chair of the Leisure and Culture Scrutiny panel, she’s a great source of ideas and visions for the town. As Deputy Lead Member supporting Philip Love and myself, keeping the regeneration show on the road in very busy times has meant many hours of dedication which Claire willingly puts in. She’s also an accomplished graphic designer and when not helping us put together political literature runs her own company Stretton Graphics – the website again explains all!
