At the manifesto launch today, David Cameron used that expression any number of times to show how Conservative Government would be a better Government . . . . ring any bells locally ?

    “More for less”

You guys must be completely out of touch with the effect your policies are having on the front line workers who deliver services to the residents.

I have friends who work in those jobs. Many areas were already short staffed and struggling to maintain the existing level of services; they have now had to deal with restructures and funding cuts and a deterioration in services is already happening.

If you want to save money by scaling back services then please at least have the decency to say so up front. Dismantling our services while pretending it is “efficiency savings” is an old line that has worn very thin.

Also, correct me if I am wrong, but this borough already had relatively low council tax bills, despite being home to many of the richest people in the country.
