Salt Barn

Posted by davidburbage on November 26, 2009

I have a photo or two of the huge salt barn in Priors Way that was featured in today’s Advertiser. The planning inspector would not want to be living opposite this – but that’s OK, he’s based in Bristol.

Couldn’t agree more – the Salt Barn is huge and blocks the light to the row of houses opposite.

Its pretty annoying that this Salt Barn was allowed to be built, particularly as the industrial estate is supposed to be “light industrial”. I would not call a queue of large lorries stretching half way up the road at past 9pm “light industrial” but there you go!

Well as David says, the guy who approved it lives in Bristol so I guess it doesn’t bother him so much…
